Wild Zone NPO is a novel nature conservation nonprofit organization, founded in 2013 in Tampere. The goal of the organization is to implement, experiment, and develop new ways to do nature conservation, habitat management, and ecological restoration. We target areas where ecological values have decreased due to human functions, but where it is possible to yet strengthen biodiversity.

The strategy of the NPO is to influence nature policy via a bottom-up approach, by producing elegant sites and ways of working that exemplify novel and functional ways to achieve nature conservation.
