Wild Zone established a meadow on the green areas of the new residential area of Lauha-ahde in Vuores, Tampere, in 2022. The residents of the area participated in establishing the meadow and will take care of it in years to come, as well. The plants sown include Viscaria vulgaris, Verbascum thapsus, Hypericum perforatum, and Trifolium arvense. All the plants of the meadow are of local origin, and their wild population origins are traceable. The vegetation of the meadow will develop slowly during the course of several years. The Lauha-ahde dry meadow is being implemented in cooperation with the City of Tampere.
