Multiplying local native plants

We strengthen biodiversity with the help of local native plants. We gather seeds and grow seedlings, and by sowing and planting them, we scale up the biodiversity in sites that have been weakened by human functions. In seed-based restoration, we grow rare and endangered plant seedlings to strengthen regressed populations. We document all the wild populations where we have collected seeds from, as well as the sites where we sow them.

Gathering seeds
Wild Zone has been experimenting for years on growing seedlings of native plant species that are becoming rare. We are constantly getting more experience. Growing endangered plants requires a permit from environmental authorities. We have, for example, been growing the endangered sand pink (Dianthus arenarius subsp. borussicus)
